What is BHIM App?

BHIM is a payment application that operates on the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). The complete name is Bharat Interface For Money. This is a government-run app which was launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.

This app was launched on the occasion of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary on 14 April. Through which people can install it in their smartphones and do online transactions. Any businessman or vegetable seller can also easily use this app.

To get started, you’ll need to download the BHIM App from your preferred App Store. Once that’s done, simply enter your bank account information using your mobile number. When your bank account is added, then you can easily do any type of online transaction like money transfer, mobile recharge, online ticket booking, room booking etc.

Once you register on the BHIM App, you’ll receive a Virtual Payment Address (VPA). This VPA can be linked to either your mobile number or your email ID. If you want to receive payment from another person, then you do not have to give your bank details for this.

That individual can only make payments to you using your VPA. Instead, if you want to pay someone else, then you can also transfer money through that person’s VPA or his bank details (Account Number, IFSC code).

This app has been designed in such a way that people can easily transact their money through it and it does not require any kind of technical knowledge.

How to Send Money from BHIM App?

Let’s take a moment to explore how you can transfer money using the BHIM App.

Step 1: You need to sign up to send money using the BHIM App. To register for the BHIM App, please follow the steps outlined below.

1. To get started, simply download the BHIM App from your preferred App Store or use the link provided below.
2. Next, download it to your mobile device and launch the app.
3. After that choose a language and click on the Proceed button.
4. Next, you need to select the SIM card in your phone that has the number linked to your bank account.
5. The app will send you an SMS for verification so that BHIM App will be verified.
6. After verification, BHIM App asks for a four-digit PIN, enter a four-digit PIN here. This PIN will be asked from you while logging in to the App.

Step 2: Set BHIM UPI PIN

Once you’ve signed up, the next step is to provide your bank details. After that, you’ll need to set up a PIN, which will be required whenever you make a transaction. For this, follow the steps given below.

1. Click on Add Bank Account. You will find a list of banks there. Select your bank from it. Following that, this app will gather your account details from your bank. All the accounts linked to your mobile number in that bank will be shown to you. Select one account from it.
2. You will now need to provide the last 6 digits of your debit card along with its expiry date.
3. Next, you’ll need to enter your UPI PIN. Enter a UPI PIN here. You will need to provide this PIN when completing the transaction.

Please do not share your UPI-PIN with anyone. BHIM does not store your UPI-PIN anywhere. Customer care will also never ask for it.

Step 3: Send money using BHIM App

To send money using the BHIM app, just follow the steps outlined below.

1. The app presents three choices on the home screen. Send Money, Request Money and Scan. Tap the SEND icon to transfer funds.
2. Please input the mobile number or Virtual Payment Address (VPA) of the recipient you wish to send money to. If you prefer to transfer funds directly to a bank account using the IFSC code, just click on the three-dot menu located in the top right corner.
3. Input the amount and then enter your UPI PIN. This will allow you to complete the payment successfully.

How to Earn Money From Bhim App 2024?

As I have already told, Bhim app is a kind of Money Transaction App. To make digital transactions more attractive, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched a cashback scheme for customers and merchants using Bharat Interface For Money (BHIM) App.

With the new plans, customers will get cashback of up to Rs 750 every month, while merchants can get cashback of up to Rs 1000 every month. So let’s now know about the various ways to earn money using BHIM App.

1. Enjoy a welcome gift of ₹ 51 when you make your first transaction using the BHIM App.

The cashback offer is available for both new and existing users, but those using the BHIM App will receive a special Welcome Gift of Rs 51 after completing their first transaction. To take advantage of this, users need to link their bank account and finish their initial transaction. Cashback can also be obtained by sending a minimum of ₹ 1 to get the cashback amount.

2. Make money by participating in the Bhim App Referral Program.

The Prime Minister gave this information and said that if you use the app and win cash back, you will get ₹10 and the person you refer will get ₹25 for each transaction. This ₹25 is only for three transactions but there should be a balance of more than ₹50 in it. To refer the Bhim App to a friend, just follow the steps outlined below.

• Open BHIM App.
• Click on the menu icon located at the top of the homepage.
• Click on Refer a friend.
• Click on Invite.
• After that you will be able to share your referral link.
• As soon as they download and install Bhim app through your link, you will get ₹10 for it. If you get 20 people to install it, you will get a profit of ₹200 in a day.
• This is another way you can make money using the Bhim app.

3. Get cashback up to Rs 500 from BHIM App

You can earn cashback of up to Rs 500 with the BHIM app! For each unique transaction made using your VPA, UPI ID, account number, or mobile number, you’ll receive Rs 25. Just remember, the minimum transaction amount needs to be Rs 100. Users have the opportunity to earn up to Rs 500 in cashback each month.

Apart from the cashback per transaction, there will be cashback based on the amount of monthly transactions done by the users. If BHIM App users do 25 or more transactions but less than 50 per month, they will get Rs 100 cashback. For transactions between 50 and 100, you will receive a cashback of Rs 200. Customers who complete over 100 transactions each month will receive a cashback of Rs 250.

How much money can you make from Bhim App?

With Bhim App, you can do UPI transactions up to ₹40000 in one transaction and up to ₹40000 in a whole day. To do transactions more than this, you will have to use NEFT, IMPS, RTGS.
